My name is Dillon, and I was the leader of the day on a beautiful and extremely eventful Saturday. I think that this was one of the most fun days of my life, and I am extremely excited for all of you to see the snapshots which I was able to capture.
We started out the day with breakfast at our hotel. We scarfed down crepes bathed in chocolate sauce and maple syrup in addition to eggs and sausage. We missed our Mamas’ cooking; however, we left the table with overflowing energy for the upcoming activities.
After an amazingly beautiful two mile walk, we were introduced to a man named Edward who gave an energetic and detailed account of the Chagga people. He gave us insight on their daily lives and kept us smiling the whole time.
During the tour we got to handle artifacts, and J held court in a chair which was used daily by the Chagga people.
After fun at the waterfall we sat down for lunch and enjoyed the wonders of this unimaginable location.
On the way back from the waterfall we ran into a litter of bunnies and were immediately entranced by their cuteness.
After the events from the day, we sat down for a quick meal and viewing of the World Cup.
On the last leg of our journey the stronger members of our group had to help out those who had grown tired from the day’s events.
