Sorry for the long absence, dear blog followers. We have had a whirlwind of a safari. This is Putney Leader Sam Jackson, coming to you with some extremely warm and fuzzy recollections of our time in the Maasai Steppe, Tarangire National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. We climbed mountains, we milked goats, we danced in and on top of Land Cruisers, we learned from Maasai activists, we heard about the struggles facing women in Tanzania, we saw animals, and so much more! Words cannot contain the experience. So here’s some pictures.
The squad with Olinarisu, one of our guides.
Lila and an assistant minister to a goat.
This is Dave (and everyone else).
This is a mountain we climbed.
This is us on top of it.
Tembo.
Tembo Crossing.
Zebra in Ngorongoro Crater.
Simba. We named him Kanye.
Some of us climbed a tree.
Seriously, we will never forget these days. More soon!
